About Me

Education

I am a student at Purdue University, and after three-years' study, will graduate in 2027 with a Bachelor of Arts in General Management from the Daniels School of Business. Reflecting my life-long fascination with design and making things, I also spent two years studying at Purdue's Rueff School of Design, Art, and Performance and will graduate with minors in both Art & Design and Design & Innovation.

Interests

Given my compressed class schedule, there is not a lot of time for outside interests. I still find opportunities to work with the 3D printer I bought several years ago using summer earnings, and I have been working on a method to cast metal objects using aluminum scrap melted in a microwave. This summer, I improved my 3D CAD skills and was recently certified as a Level 1 Specialist in Rhino (I am also proficient with Fusion360).

Career Goals

I am currently looking to build a career that will marry my dual studies in business/industrial design, together with my personal interests/technical skills. I think there is a real need for people who understand the challenges faced by businesses seeking to deliver superior consumer and shareholder value but also appreciate the opportunities (and limitations) offered by design and materials sciences.
